And I will establish my covenant with you, neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.

Thoughts on Today’s Verse…

When the people in the age of Noah were corrupt to the extreme, God had to destroy that world because of His righteous disposition. But His heart was in pain. Despite this, He still shows concern for us humans, uses the rainbow to make a covenant with mankind, hoping that we can remember this and live before Him. From this we see that God’s love for mankind is real and will never change.
