Yes, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for you are with me; your rod and your staff they comfort me.
– Psalm 23:4

Thoughts on Today’s Verse…

Although David was weak in tribulations and adversity, he didn’t dread anything because he understood that God would be with him no matter what situation. Jehovah God was his reliance, comfort and help at any time. In his youth, he defeated Goliath by relying on God; When Saul wanted to kill him, he was out of the woods with the help of God; He always won wars with God’s power … David had seen God’s deeds and truly experienced His authority and power, so he could praise God a lot.

God could be with David at that time, and He is also our help and support at all times today. Despite any tribulations or refinements in real life, work, or interpersonal relationship, as long as we speak our actual difficulties to God and seek His help and guidance, He will listen to our prayers and lead us in everything. Hence, we can truly experience that God is our reliance.

Share a passage of God’s words, “It’s very simple now: Look upon Me with your heart and your spirit will immediately become strong, you will have a path to follow and I will guide your every step. My word shall be revealed to you at all times and in all places. No matter where or when, or how adverse the environment is, I will show you clearly and My heart shall be revealed to you if you look to Me with your heart; this way you will run down the road ahead and never lose your way.
